Dr. Claire Regan is Principal Clinical Psychologist, Specialist in Talking Therapies in the Adult Mental Health services in the HSE in Waterford, Ireland. She is an accredited CAT Practitioner and Supervisor, teaching and supervising on the ICAT training courses, and is
the new Chair of the Irish Association of Cognitive Analytic Therapy.
She has worked as a
psychologist in the Irish public health service for over twenty-five years. Alongside this role, Claire balances a small private practice focused on research and clinical supervision.
She has a strong interest in the application of CAT outside of the therapy room and has published
a number of papers and book chapters outlining her work using CAT tools in schools and early educational environments.
Recently, she has been evolving her work to include an expanded relational awareness beyond the Ego, helping others to embrace their intuitive consciousness as a source of expansive wisdom, compassion and energy.
