Jamie Kirkland is a consultant clinical psychologist, CAT practitioner, supervisor and trainer. He works in Edinburgh where he is team lead for a community intellectual disability forensic service. He is interested in the application of CAT in team, consultancy and creative settings.
He was co-editor with Jenny Marshall for two books; 'Reflective Practice in Forensic Settings' and 'Innovative Practice in Forensic Settings'. He has written a number of published articles and brought CAT, with other colleagues, to the Edinburgh Fringe.
In 2023 he presented, along with Joe Judge, a workshop exploring CAT approaches to the Incel movement.
