Rania Founta has been working for the last 8 years as a senior clinical psychologist in adult community mental health in the public sector (HSE) and has worked 6 years as a clinical psychologist in a private inpatient setting in Ireland. Currently she is completing her ICAT (Irish Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy) level 2 CAT practitioner training.
Her background is in Systemic and Family Psychotherapy and has worked as a family therapist in general adult psychiatry and in a specialised eating disorder unit in St. Patrick’s University Hospital. She supervises trainees in Clinical Psychology Training and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Supervision.
She has professional studies in classical guitar and she is a member of GuitarRiam, the guitar ensemble of the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
