I am a clinical psychologist and undertook postgraduate training in child and adolescent psychodynamic psychotherapy while working for many years in public sector mental health and disability services in Australia. My work in multidisciplinary assessments of preschool children led to my PhD on the developmental trajectory of neurodiversity. Subsequently, I engaged in CAT training through Orygen Youth Mental Health in Melbourne and private supervision.

I have continued to use CAT informed, culturally sensitive, neurodiversity-affirming, and trauma-informed therapies in private practice with children, adolescents and adults. I am especially interested in how CAT concepts can be used in therapy with young children, including those with delayed language and cognitive development, with families or other caregivers, and with wider systems to foster coordinated support.
