I am a licensed psychologist with 26 years of professional experience in counselling and psychotherapy in Greece and the United Kingdom. I hold a BSc in Psychology from the University of Sunderland and an MSc in Counselling Psychology from the University of East London. The MSc programme required the completion of more than 150 hours of clinical practice, which I undertook under specialised supervision in the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, as well as 40 hours of personal psychotherapy. I am currently completing my training in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) under the auspices of the Hellenic Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy (Hellas CAT).
I am also a certified adult educator (non-formal education) by EOPPEP. My experience includes working in clinical settings, psychiatric units, and prison settings in the UK. Since 2003, I have been working in Greece across various psychosocial and educational settings, providing counselling support and training professionals in mental health and special education.
Since 2004, I have maintained a private practice, which has recently expanded into a psychotherapy and counselling centre. I am a regular contributor to print and digital media and have participated in numerous scientific conferences and publications.
